Monsters too strong in groups

While it sounds good on paper, the way monsters scale their damage and HP wheter you fight alone or in a group is too overwhelming. To put it simply, they get too strong, which makes group fights absolutely annoying to deal with and discouraging group fights as a whole! For a game about MULTIPLAYER, this completely misses the point. Just because I have someone else in the fight, the monsters shouldn’t almost DOUBLE THEIR DAMAGE.
To put it bluntly, Monster Scaling with group is a concept that HAS TO GO!

And their balancing of monsters is quite a pain in the Krosmoz if you ask me. But regardless, MMO is the overarching term that holds Wakfu, Dofus and Waven under this category, and my point stands that a game where you can group up should not PUNISH you for bringing help against an enemy. Imagine if you can't solo a boss, if you ask for help, there will be TWO of you who can't solo a boss less you bring someone OVER-leveled for the task.

I don't agree with this comment. I played a few hours this weekend in a group of three and things were fine. We only lost once, characters only died (spector) twice, and fights were not terribly long. What I think is nice about the party play is that it only increases the difficultly to the lowest level party member. We had two lvl 13's and one 23 so fights were capped at 13. This allowed everyone to help and didn't seem to limit my drops. I dropped some higher level chests that the rest did not.

you dont realise it until a certain point. Me and my Mate were doing Bonta quests, and we struggled to beat the lvl 24 quest with 2 lvl 40 characters, because the guy did like 130 damage per hit. It was the quest with the guy that summons doubles of himself.

When we did the quests for ourself it was easy. smile

The Multiplayer is a really big problem in Waven. I dont play with my friends for this exact reason. Every time i play with a friend, the difficulty increases way too much. Since nobody wants to deal with that, we dont do Coop anymore. Sad
